Six Months Beginners Course - 26 weeks

Six Months Designed for beginners or very out-of-touch hairdressers returning to the professions. Prospective students should call to discuss this course in detail. World Federation of Supreme Hairdressing Schools Diploma.

Basis Six Months for Beginners

Three Month This course is recommended for students finishing their apprenticeships or people who have left the hairdressing profession for a few years and now wish to return to the craft. A comprehensive course, which covers salon routine, approach to clients, reception training, theory and practical salon work. Prospective students should call to discuss this course in detail.

One Month The student will learn all aspects of modern salon work work including our latest techniques for fashion perming and fashion colouring, comb-on tinting. Models provided.

Two Weeks In this two week course students will be given a wider aspect on modern hair cutting techniques, including cuts needed to compliment modern perming and tinting methods. Models provided.

One Week A course giving trained hairdressers an opportunity to learn the latest London cutting, blow drying, finger drying and new setting techniques.

Punctuality and regular attendance are essential at all times to ensure thorough training

Syllabus

  1. Two weeks working on mannequin head blocks
  2. Client relations and communication
  3. Hair conditioning and treatments
  4. Basic cutting, precision cutting, razor cutting, advanced cutting
  5. Perm waving, basic, piggy back, stack winding, root perming, spiral winding
  6. Colouring, basic highlights, lowlights, comb-on colour, tinfoil highlighting
  7. Blow-drying, finger drying, scrunch drying
  8. Shampoo and setting, traditional and modern techniques, finger wave and pincurl
  9. Reception and appointment booking
  10. Product knowledge
  11. Long hair designing, plaiting, braiding
  12. All aspects of hairdressing will be covered in theory and practice
  13. Students who have gained a high mark in exams may take a further one month course and take Advanced World Supreme Federation Examination. A photographer will be available to take pictures of this exam for your own portfolio. (Please ask for details of fees)
